Video promotion for my film festival "Black Mirror Sequence." Mixing live video and animation. The aim of this video was to give the impression of a false reality, while also not giving away too much information on any of the films within the festival. I love mixing live film with animation, making this video project my favorite. I won two awards for this video: Best Concept and Best Animation.
Animation / video effects reel for my work in 2016. All content is original and my own. Videos include: "Go Against the Grain" starring myself, Prisca Seo, and Ghazal Rahimi. "Keys" a music video I had the pleasure of working on with upcoming artist Matiss Evreoux. All other videos are original content created by yours truly.
I wanted people in Los Angeles to understand how someone with Lyme Disease feels: uncomfortable in their vessel. Here I transformed a train car apart of the LA Metro into an uncomfortable environment for passengers.
A visual experiment I created that plays around with the blending options as well as keying on after effects.
GO AGAINST THE GRAIN
This was my first introduction into After Effects. This is a video for the idiom "Go Against the Grain" featuring myself, Prisca Seo, and Ghazal Rhimini. The concept was to create a video of various character "going against the grain." We wanted to show each one of our characters going against the stereotypes society has constructed for each of us. I won an award for "Best Animation"
WHO AM I
Video experiment to help my fellow classmates understand the general animation style I enjoy working with. I like clashing video with animation, and adding fun colors.
